The Christian Middle School Choral festival is Scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2009 at Goodpasture Christian School.

Started in 1991, The event has hosted 14 different Christian Schools. It is a great opportunity for your students to hear other choral groups and an outlet for them to perform for their peers. In addition, it gives them a goal to work toward. Thank you to all who have supported this festival and made it such a success. The festival is open to Middle School and Junior High students in your chorus.

Selections for the festival may be ordered at
http://www.jwpepper.com from the festival list link. Pepper will provide you with a folder for each set of music ordered. Please be sure to stamp your school name on your music.

The
SCHEDULE for the festival begins with Registration by the directors at 9am in the lobby of the auditorium. Please have a check made out to "Goodpasture Chorus" to turn in at this time. Parking will need to take place for all cars and busses in the former Nashville Memorial Hospital Parking Lot across from the auditorium. Buses may drop off students between the Auditorium and the Elementary Building before going to park. All rehearsals this year will take place in the auditorium. (See Campus Map/Directions). There must be ample chaperones for your students and someone must always be supervising your students in the rehearsals, dressing rooms, lunch, and bathrooms. This will ensure the best working environment for our clinician, security for our campus, and proper supervision of students who might become ill. Dressing rooms will be provided for those who need them from 5:30 - 6:15pm.

The cost per student for the festival is $15. This will be used to pay clinicians, accompanists, janitors, and for lunch. Lunch will be provided for one chaperone per every ten students you bring. Additional chaperone's lunches will be $5. Dinner is up to each individual chorus. There are several places to eat in the Madison/Rivergate area within 10-15 minutes from the school.
